The Understanding Me Cards are a practical, child‑friendly tool designed to help pupils explore the needs underneath their behaviour, emotions and everyday experiences in school. Created for children and young people aged 8–16, the set includes 61 cards (56 statement cards, 3 category sorting cards, 1 solution-focused reflection card, and 1 instruction card). The 56 need-based statements are organised into seven key areas, and 8 cards in each category:
