These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made through www.understandingme.co.uk (“Website”). By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. About Us and Our Products

We sell physical educational resources, including the Understanding Me Cards.
These products are designed to support reflective conversations and wellbeing-related exploration but are not therapeutic tools and do not replace professional advice, assessment, or intervention.

2. Purchasing and Orders

When placing an order, you confirm that:

All information you provide is accurate and complete
You are over 18 years of age
You are authorised to use the payment method provided

Once you place an order, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. This confirms that your order has been received. A contract is formed only when we dispatch your items and send you a dispatch confirmation.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order if:

The product is out of stock
There is an error in pricing or product information
We suspect fraudulent activity
Payment is not successfully processed

If your order cannot be fulfilled, we will notify you and issue a full refund.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are listed in GBP (£).
Prices include VAT where applicable.
Payment is taken securely through Wix Payments.
Delivery costs (if applicable) are shown at checkout.

We may change prices at any time, but such changes will not apply to orders already placed.

4. Delivery

We currently ship to addresses within the United Kingdom only.

These are estimates, not guarantees.
Delays may occur due to Royal Mail/courier issues, seasonal pressures, or external events.

5. Returns and Cancellations

Your right to change your mind (Cooling-Off Period)

You have 14 days from the day you receive your order to request a return, in line with UK consumer law.

To qualify:

Items must be unused
In original packaging
In a resalable condition

You are responsible for return postage costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

To request a return, email hello@understandingme.co.uk with your order number.

Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

6. Faulty, Incorrect, or Damaged Items

If your product arrives:

We will offer you a replacement or refund.

Diagnostic assessments

Use of the Understanding Me Cards is at your discretion and should be adapted appropriately to your context.

Design
Layout
Branding
Illustrations
Website content

You may not:

Reproduce
Digitise
Resell
Distribute

…any part of the product or website content without prior written permission.

Purchasing a product gives you the right to use it in your own professional or personal context, but does not grant permission to reproduce or distribute it.

9. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
We are not responsible for delays caused by third‑party delivery services.
Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
The version in force at the time of your order will apply unless we are required by law to make changes.
